- Arrive at least 30 minutes early to enjoy the fellowship
- Prompt start at 6.15pm and finish close to 8.00pm
- If unable to attend
- make your apology known as set out in the Bulletin
- attend a make-up, and advise the Attendance Officer
- Respect speakers by quietly listening
- Always warmly applaud the guest speaker
- Be quiet and give your full attention during the induction of new members
- Listen to announcements quietly. Business raised at meetings should be only of an urgent or immediate nature. Other information should be written up in the Bulletin for members to read at their leisure. All matters raised must be through the President or Chairperson acting that evening.
- Visitors and new members are to be given a warm welcome. Always introduce yourself clearly.
- During the meal, make an effort to include everyone in conversation.
- Don't form cliques; sit at different tables with different Rotarians.
- Fulfill your rostered duties or make arrangements for another Rotarian to fill in for you.
- Courtesy and consideration are essential to the smooth operation of our Club. If you see a need, don't wait to be asked. Jump to it and help out.
